What happens if you shorten a year to one second?

Will it feel empty to overlap every second of the year and let people spend a year in a very short time? Social development is too fast, people become nervous and utilitarian. If we get to the extreme, a year passes in a second, what will happen?

 

 This was originally a one minute video. There were many interesting things happened in that minute: three policemen were standing at the exit of the subway, the alarm rang, the air was very tense, it seemed that something happened. But in the overlapping second, we can only perceive the bright color, noisy voice and indistinguishable shadow.

Although the work of this second is  beautiful, like an abstract painting. But it can't change its essence. It's just one second empty.
